The Tam Tam stool is a pop icon of the 1960s-70s design. The unmistakable stool was designed by Henry Masonnet in 1968.

The characteristic hourglass shape and extreme lightness are due to the fact that Henry Masonnet, apart from being a renowned international designer, was an amateur fisherman and designed a versatile and portable seating solution.

The design of the stool is reminiscent of an African drum.

The Tam Tam stool quickly became a bestseller after the publication of a photo featuring the famous actress Brigitte Bardot seated on it.

The design stool can be used as seating indoors in various areas of the house, from the study to the bathroom and entrance, or outdoors, by the poolside, on the terrace, and for events and ceremonies.
