A SPECIAL RE-EDITION

We have recovered an original screen-printing frame from the 1980s to bring back into production one of the first dESIGNoBJECT magnetic wall boards.

Produced in a small series. Limited availability.

A design piece from the history of dESIGNoBJECT

Some products are not meant to be simply redesigned.

We wanted to bring them back to life.

This magnetic wall board is a re-edition of one of the earliest dESIGNoBJECT designs. To recreate it, we recovered an original screen-printing frame from the 1980s, preserved in our archive, and used it once again to print the original graphic onto the metal surface.

The result is a small series of handcrafted pieces made in Italy, preserving the essential and slightly playful character of the early dESIGNoBJECT objects.

A magnetic board, but also a design piece

Its generous horizontal surface makes it suitable for many different uses: as a display board for photographs and memories, an organizer for notes and messages, or simply as an original piece of wall decoration.

The graphic featuring the twelve months, accompanied by stylized figures, gives the board a distinctive decorative character that sets it apart from conventional office magnetic boards.

Screen-printed just like the original

The graphic is produced using screen printing, a technique that has been part of dESIGNoBJECT’s production history from the very beginning.

Recovering the original frame is not simply a nostalgic detail: it allows us to preserve a graphic that belongs to the history of the design and reproduce it today using the same printing technique.

Small variations and imperfections in the surface may therefore occur and are part of the handcrafted character of the production.

A small re-edition

We have not planned an industrial production run.

This is a small series, produced using the original screen-printing frame recovered from our archive.

Once the available pieces have sold out, this re-edition may not be produced again.
