For many calligraphers, drawing an Enso is a daily practice, akin to a diary where one ties the emotions of the moment, desires, or simply creates an empty space to find oneself again.

Our daily life is hectic, marked by a time that seems to elude us.

With S-ENSo, dESIGNoBJECT aims to “stop time,” enclosing it in an empty space where it can be resized.

Through S-ENSo, we exercise control over our time, allowing us to pause and give “meaning” to each day.

Clock Made of Calamine Steel

The new version in Calamine Steel adds a touch of industrial design to the elegance and simplicity that characterize the Original model.

S-Enso Clock wall clock is made from black Calamine steel sheet cut by laser.

“Black Iron” Calamine used for the special S-Enso Clock Limited Edition series is a sought-after and unconventional material.

Calamine is the layer of oxide that forms on the surface of steel products during hot processing; the sheet metal used for the new S-Enso clock thus features chromatic irregularities and “flames” that make each product a unique piece with industrial charm.
